The Current ‘Series’

One Day to Feed the World

On Sunday, November 13th, we’ll be introducing One Day to Feed the World.  This missions challenge is to give one day’s wages on November 20th to help Convoy of Hope feed hungry people, meet immediate needs during times of disaster and give people hope.

How great are the needs of the impoverished and hurting?

  • • 1 billion people — a majority being women and children — are undernourished
  • • Every 3.6 seconds a person dies from hunger-related causes
  • • 16 million children die of hunger each year
  • • Every 6 seconds a child dies for lack of pure drinking water.

Convoy of Hope feeds more than 100,000 children in seven countries, holds dozens of community outreaches in impoverished communities each year, responds to domestic and international disasters, and resources like-minded partners.

Because of Convoy of Hope’s generous corporate partners every unrestricted dollar given to Convoy of Hope is leveraged into $7 worth of food, water and supplies. These products are then placed into the hands of impoverished people throughout the world who are in desperate need.

The Art of Family

If you have kids or are even thinking about having them, you won’t want to miss this four-week series that explores what God’s Word has to say about all things family. Whether they’re bawling, crawling, walking, talking, driving you crazy or asking to drive your car, kids are a gift from God – and He provides some very clear guidance and insight on how to raise them to be full of faith and focused on Him, rather than leaving you frustrated, frazzled and fatigued.

Through the Valley

Usually, when we hear Psalm 23, “The Lord is my shepherd…”, we get flash backs of Great-Uncle Charlie’s funeral. However, this passage is not all about death, but is filled with help on how to live life when life gets you down. Join us for a new six-week sermon series beginning Sunday, May 1 and find the hope and strength you need to walk through the valley. Discover who God really is and see just how much you matter to Him.
